The hardest part of starting a blog, is actually starting it.
I guess the best place to start would be why I'm starting a blog.
I love makeup.
I remember watching my mother setting up her mirror on the kitchen table
and she would start "putting her face on"
It was a ritual.
Her mother and sisters all did it.
I wanted to do it.
It wasn't a simple task but this huge production.
I loved playing with the pancake makeup though I never quite understood it.
And to this day the smell of Airspun powder brings back memories.
The older I got, the more I loved makeup.
It wasn't just about "putting my face on",
it was the whole other world I slowly got to explore.
Though the idea of starting a blog has been on my mind for years, it was the persistence of friends and family and a very enthusiastic makeup teacher that finally gave me the confidence to start it.
What will I blog?
Part of the hesitation over the years was what would my blog be about. I guess it will be a collection of beauty, makeup, fashion, life in general. I love trying out new products and seeing if they are worth the hype. I am also a bargain hunter. I love finding items on discount or sale. I never order anything online without a discount code. Oh and dupes.. I love me a dupe.
I was the resident products person in my makeup school, and now that school is over I want to continue with all of you.
